MARK HOHNEN

Chairman of Advisory Board Deutsche Lithium GmbH

Mr. Hohnen has experience in the Japanese, Chinese and Korean markets, all of which play a significant role in the production of lithium ion batteries and the development of electric vehicle technology. Mr. Hohnen has been involved in the mineral resource sector since the late 1970s. He has had extensive international business experience in a wide range of industries including mining and exploration, property, investment, software and agriculture. He has held a number of directorships in both public and private companies and was founding Chairman of Cape Mentelle and Cloudy Bay wines, as well as being on the board of oil and coal company Anglo Pacific Resources Plc. Mr. Hohnen was also a director of Kalahari Minerals and Extract Resources, having successfully negotiated the sale of both companies to Taurus (CGN). He is also chairman of AIM listed Bacanora Lithium PLC, ASX listed, Boss Resources Limited and director of Salt Lake Potash Limited.

PETER SECKER

Managing Director of Deutsche Lithium GmbH

Mr. Secker is a mining engineer with over 30 years experience in the resources industry. During his career he has built and operated a number of mines and metallurgical processing facilities in Africa, Australia, China and Canada. His operating and project experience spans a number of commodities, including titanium, copper, iron ore, gold and lithium. For the past 10 years Peter has been Chief Executive of a number of publicly listed companies, most recently as CEO of Canada Lithium Corporation whilst successfully developing the Quebec Lithium project. Peter Secker is also CEO of Bacanora Lithium Plc.

PROF. DR. ARMIN MUELLER

Managing Director of Deutsche Lithium GmbH

Prof. Dr. Armin Müller studied chemistry at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg (1982 – 1986). He holds a degree in chemistry (Diploma 1986) and became a PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) at the same university in 1989. From 1989 to 1990 he worked as a scientist at the Central institute for inorganic chemistry of the academy of science (GDR) in Berlin.

1991 he started to work as chemist at Bayer AG (business unit inorganic pigments) in Krefeld.

In 1996 he moved to Freiberg as head of production (crystallization of semiconductor silicon) of Bayer Solar GmbH, later Deutsche Solar GmbH, and worked in this position until 2003.

2001 – 2007 he was also responsible of the R&D for the solar value chain of Solarworld AG (from silicon to solar modules). Since 2008 he has been appointed Honorary Professor of Inorganic-Chemical Technology at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg.

From 2007 to 2011 he was CTO of Sunicon AG. The main activities of Sunicon AG included the production of high-purity silicon, silicon recycling and the crystallization of silicon for photovoltaics.

Prof. Dr. Armin Müller was also Managing Director of Joint Solar Silicon GmbH, a joint venture between Evonik and SolarWorld from 2003 – 2013.

From 2010 – 2017, Prof. Müller was a member of the Supervisory Board of Qatar Solar Technologies and, from 2012 to 2016, Director of Strategic Materials SolarWorld AG.

Since 2008 he has been managing director of Deutsche Lithium GmbH, formerly SolarWorld Solicium GmbH, and head of the Zinnwald-Lithium-Project.
